This led her to discover a new passion in the fitness industry coaching, training, and instructing group fitness classes. With now over 12 years experience under her belt, Jennifer loves helping others achieve their health & fitness goals, strive for greatness, and live a happy, healthy, lifestyle!
Jennifer started her yoga practice just over 6 years ago after entering into her first figure competition. Through her practice she found Inferno Hot Pilates and fell in love! Jennifer loves that at Body Yoga it is a family environment allowing men and women to come as they are and receive the guidance, love and support they need to reach their ultimate health and fitness goals.
When Jennifer is not coaching and helping others she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, practicing yoga, traveling, attending sporting events, being active outdoors and playing at the beach!
At the age of 22yrs, I was told by my then arthroscopic surgeon that I would not be able to resume my usual physical activities as a result of a broken patella, with loss of all cartilage in my right knee resulting from a car accident. What I consider one of my “wake up calls”. Through dedication to my yoga practice I was pleasantly surprised to find I had strengthened the muscles around my knee and would no longer need to have knee replacement surgery.
When you hear the instructors say “Lock the knee” embrace it, trust it, do it!
I have received so much from this practice that in Spring of 2006 I decided it was time to give back. I have been teaching Bikram yoga ever since and have found even more joy and passion through the sharing of this amazing yoga practice with others.
I have been practicing yoga for over 10 years and I am so grateful for the time that I have on my mat as it provides much needed balance in my life. In my free time I love gardening, hanging out with my niece and nephew, going camping with my hubs, and being outside. I love bubbly water, avocados, summer tomatoes, (and grilled cheese and chocolate cake…shhh).
