This is a Bikram method class which consists of a challenging series of 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises, suitable for all ages and all levels of ability. Each posture stretches, strengthens, and prepares specific muscles, ligaments, and joints needed for the next posture. This yoga class also stimulates organs, glands, and nerves, moving fresh oxygenated blood to 100% of the body, restoring all systems to a healthy working order. Bikam Choudhury scientifically designed this 90 minute program to deliver total health through the balancing and
strengthening of every system in the body. To prevent illness and injury, promote weight loss and limit the effects of aging. This series of postures also improves concentration, patience, determination, and self-control to
increase mental clarity and reduce stress. This yoga class is done in a heated room to warm your muscles, prevent injury, allow a deeper workout and cleanse the body by flushing toxins.

Working directly with the hips and shoulders, as well as other joint areas, open up deep, dense and rarely touched areas in the back, hips and joints. Allowing an increased flow of energy and flexibility which will allow you to explore new depths in yoga poses, and a deeper range of motion. This deeply relaxing class also holds elements of a meditative, healing practice, yet full of intensity and personal challenges, providing an opportunity to intensify your yoga by holding poses to allow for longer, deeper stretching.
